Iron Rail Models started as a way to fill the gaps in my own layout — the small buildings, huts and details that make an Australian scene actually feel Australian.

Every model is designed from scratch, referenced against real prototypes across the NSWGR, VR and Commonwealth Railways, and printed in-house on resin machines. That means fine surface detail, consistent scale, and the freedom to keep improving the range with short runs instead of committing to giant injection tooling.

I package and post everything myself from the shed. If a bit arrives broken, or if you'd like something modified for your layout, just send me a message — that flexibility is the whole point of doing this at a small scale.
